Since the 21st century, with the rapid development of China's economy, rural development has become an important issue to be addressed by the Chinese government, and art, as a unique cultural resource, is considered to have the potential to promote rural revitalization and sustainable development. This study will reveal the specific patterns and effects of art-enabled rural landscape revitalization in Jiangjun Village, Chongqing through interviews and observations in a case study of the village. The study draws the following conclusions: Firstly, artistic empowerment has brought vitality to Jiangjun Village, creating a rural landscape with an artistic and cultural atmosphere that attracts more tourists and resources. Secondly, artistic empowerment stimulates the development of rural tourism and improves the quality of life of villagers, thus promoting rural revitalization and sustainable development. This study provides valuable development strategies for the revitalization and development of art-enabled rural landscapes, as well as new ideas and practices to learn from for China's rural revitalization and sustainable development in other regions and the world.
